The Governance API is an add-on to a Village subscription — every API customer is a Village, and the records live there. You pay a Village subscription plus a metered governance add-on. There is no standalone API plan.
Your Village subscription
The API is tenant-scoped: every governance-API customer is a Village, and your sovereign records live in your Village. So the starting point is a Village subscription — one flat price per community, no per-seat fees. These are the current live Village rates; the governance add-on (Step 2) sits on top.

Add the Governance API
A governance add-on on top of your Village subscription. Your system submits a proposed action; you get back a verdict — allow, gate (a human decides) or deny — and a signed receipt you can verify yourself. Verdicts are metered; human gate-resolutions are the scarce resource that separates the tiers. Every figure is indicative until general availability.

Your records, your jurisdiction
New Zealand · European Union
Records live in New Zealand or the European Union, never on a US-owned provider. The record is yours — your tenant, your keys, your export rights, before, during and after any subscription. Your content is never used to train any model. Billing settles through Airwallex (NZ); no US payment rail.
Availability — early access, on application
- Now: the interface documentation and client SDK are public. You can design and build your integration today.
- On application: sandbox access follows an independent external security review of the API. Approved applicants receive a tenant-scoped key against a live sandbox.
- Production keys: follow counsel-reviewed terms and a data processing agreement — no production key is issued before both exist.
The API is not generally available. Nothing on this page points at a live production surface.

Can I buy the API on its own?
No. The API is tenant-scoped — every API customer is a Village, and your records live in that Village. You pay a Village subscription plus a governance add-on. There is no standalone API plan.
Which currency am I billed in?
Prices are anchored in euros and shown here as rounded equivalents in seven currencies. Billing settles through Airwallex (NZ) in your local currency.
What counts as a verdict?
Each proposed action you submit returns one verdict — allow, gate or deny — with a signed receipt. Verdicts beyond your tier's included allowance are charged at the per-verdict overage rate.
Is the record court-defensible?
The record is tamper-evident and signed. We do not market it as tamper-proof or court-defensible — whether it satisfies a legal duty is a matter for your counsel. What you get is the strongest contemporaneous, self-verifiable record of how a decision was made.
