You choose where your Village lives — New Zealand and the European Union today, with Australia from 1 July (existing pilots can be migrated). No US-owned cloud sits anywhere in the chain — not the servers, not the storage, not the AI.
A US-operated cloud stays reachable by US authorities even when its servers sit in your own country. Ours are not. For privileged and regulated work, that is the difference.

Common Questions
How do I get started?
Founding communities receive 50% of standard pricing — your rate never increases. Contact us and we will set up your Village personally.
What if the price is a barrier?
We never want cost to keep a community off sovereign ground. If the standard rate is a genuine barrier, talk to us about koha — a contribution set to what your community can give.
Can I change plans?
Yes. Add or remove capacity add-ons anytime. Switch between Village types with migration assistance.
Where is my data stored?
EU infrastructure (OVHCloud, Strasbourg) or NZ infrastructure (Catalyst Cloud, Wellington) with AES-256-CBC encryption. Full GDPR compliance. No US data residency.
Can I export my data?
Yes. All plans include full data export in open formats (JSON, Markdown) at any time.
What payment methods?
All major credit and debit cards via Airwallex (NZ) Limited — a New Zealand-licensed payment provider (FSP1001602; PCI DSS Level 1). No US-owned processor handles your transactions.
Can we split the cost?
Yes! 2-10 members can share the subscription cost equally. Contact us to set this up for your community.
What am I paying for?
Sovereign infrastructure (servers in NZ and EU), sovereign AI inference (your own trained model), encrypted communications, 5 fully-localised languages (incl. te reo Māori), and ongoing development. No advertising, no data resale, no algorithmic manipulation. Your subscription is the entire business model.
What We Expect of Village Owners
Every Village must have at least one accredited moderator. Before your Village goes live, you or a nominated member completes a two-stage accreditation covering privacy, content moderation, and platform operations. This takes 2–3 hours over your own schedule.
We take this seriously because your members trust you with their data, their content, and their conversations. The accreditation ensures you understand that responsibility.
